Hi,

When I connect my ipaq i-mate to Suse 10.1, the device is recognised:

usb 3-2: Product: PocketPC SmartPhone
usb 3-2: Manufacturer: Intel.
usb 3-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
usbcore: registered new driver usbserial

drivers/usb/serial/usb-serial.c: USB Serial support registered for PocketPC PDA

ipaq 3-2:1.0: PocketPC PDA converter detected
usb 3-2: PocketPC PDA converter now attached to ttyUSB0
usbcore: registered new driver ipaq

on reconnect I get the following:
Code:

usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3

usb 3-2: new device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0

I cannot synch to the device using synce?

Any help would be appreciated,
