Intel builtin LAN Card not being detected in SLES 10 SP2

I have installed SLES 10 SP2 but my network card is undetected.

Model: Intel(R) 82567V-2 Gigabit Network

I have the drivers for linux on my installation cd as:
- e1000-8.0.2.1.tar.gz
- e1000e-0.3.3.3.tar.gz
- igb-1.2.24.tar.gz

How do i install these drivers on linux?

Are you quite sure, you don't have the files installed ?
Please do this command :
find /lib/modules/`uname -r` -name *e1000*
( e1000.ko , e1000e.ko )
... They are included in Suse 10.3 .

If both are loaded, the e1000e may not work.
lsmod : to see what is loaded. ( or : su , lsmod )

# modprobe -r e1000 : will unload the module.
Can be loaded again with # modprobe e1000
... Please see 'man modprobe'.
.....
.....

I am attaching the output of your 2 commands:

-find /lib/modules/`uname -r` -name *e1000*
-lsmod

I don't see any of the e1000 modules loaded in the lsmod output, what to do?

Please do : # modprobe e1000

... and see if your card can be configured.
