Installing Firefox

I'm fairly new to linux. Today I tried installing firefox and this is what I got

---------------------------------------------------
linux:/home/nukem/MyDocuments/firefox-installer # ./firefox-installer
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified


(firefox-installer-bin:5390): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display:

Now it doesn't come with a readme file either. How exactly do I install firefox?

What distro are you trying to install it in?

If your trying to do it in SuSE just go to YaST -> Programs -> Install and Remove Programs, search for and check firefox and click install.

I'm installing in Suse 9.1.. Thanks for trying to help

It was my stupidity anyways... When I logged in with "su -m" it worked. Before I just typed "su" w/ out the m switch. lol
