Now the answer for the folks who will say "but. . . "
There are several x86 virtual machine emulators out for the Macintosh, and you can install one of those emulators on your PPC-based Mac (I am assuming you are NOT referring to one of the x86 Mac development kit "macintosh" computers) and then install Suse Linux under that. Unfortunately due to the nature of emulation, it is very unlikely you will get good support; it'd be well beyond their support boundaries, but chances are if you buy the retail boxed version rather than download a torrent, the Novell support engineers will likely make a "best effort" to help you in the event that you need support.
