How to add a remote networked windows printer ?

Dear fellows,

How can I add a remote networked shared windows printer to my SuSE 10.0 box ?

miguel@gold ~>$ smbclient -L //kgbserver_1 -U miguel%mypass -W XXX
Domain=[XXX] OS=[Windows 5.0] Server=[Windows 2000 LAN Manager]

Sharename Type Comment
--------- ---- -------
IPC$ IPC IPC remoto
D$ Disk Recurso compartilhado padrão
print$ Disk Drivers de impressora
HP500 Printer Ligada ao PrintServer Edimax, porta 2
NETLOGON Disk Compartilhamento do servidor de logon
HP_1100 Printer IMPRESSORA EM REDE
hpphotos Printer IMPRESSORA FOTO EM REDE

The printer in question I want to add is the last in the list above: hpphotos.

YaST/ Hardware/Printer/Add a new Queue don't allow me to add a samba printer, just local printers ?!/!?

The share hpphotos is a hp photosmart 7350.

thanks for any help,

Try again with YaST. Click 'Add' and when asked for configuring a new queue, say 'No'. You should then get a selection of protocols to connect through of which one is SMB. If you select this one, you will be asked for the connection details.

Ouch ! How easy it is ! I never imagine that saying No I could continue with the process, rather than finishing it. Designing a (good) GUI is not a trivial task....

Thanks a lot.
