how do I get smart to show older versions of packages

Hi all,
As the subject says .... how or can I make smart show older versions of installed packages?? I would like to go back to an older version of mplayer plugin but smart isn't showing it ... I know I could always do it via cli with -f using rpm but then smart would be out of sync so I'd rather use the gui

Smart only shows what's available in the channels that have been set up and repositories (in my experience) only have the latest rpm's even though older versions are still available on online.

If you have older versions of a rpm you wish to install or downgrade to in a directory on your harddrive you can define that directory to be a channel of type rpm-dir and Smart will make these available in it's gui, just remember to update the channel.
