The version of Wine that Suse provides is pretty ancient; you're better off updateing to the very latest version by downloading the appropriate RPM from the WineHQ site, and then double-clicking on it from the desktop and running the installer.
That will get you up to the latest version, but Suse's auto-update system will then bug you about it forever because Wine changed their version numbering scheme, and Suse will think it's own version is more recent. Ho hum. Just stick with the version from WineHQ, and you'll be fine.
