Firewall problem browsing Windows network
Is there anyway to keep firewall running while browsing a Windows network from Linux.
I don't have any probs accessing Linux shares (SAMBA) from a Windows box with a firewall enabled but if I want to browse the Windows network from the Linux boxes I need to temporarily disable the firewall.
Any way round this -- I do want to keep the firewall running and it's messy running a start and stop firewall before browsing a Windows network
(Not a SUSE 10.0 specific problem --I've had this for as long as I can remember but these days it's much more important to keep systems protected as far as possible now things like always on Internet connections etc are commonly used.
Cheers
