Angry Firefox and Java

I'm using SuSE Professional 9.2. I have the Java package installed from cd, however, java doesn't work in firefox. It only works in Konqueror. I decided to download and install Java, however, I don't know where to make the symbolic link. I don't know where firefox has been installed to, so I can't find the plugins folder for it. Does anybody know where SuSE installs the firefox package from CD ? Thanks in advance.

Try /opt/MozillaFirefox/lib/plugins

For the "standard" Suse Java setup which IMHO is a bit of a mish-mosh with this Jpackage business you need a link to
/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.4.2-sun-1.4.2.06/jre/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32

Good Luck

ln -s /usr/lib/jvm/jre/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.so

above is the command that I use for SuSE9.2

With apologies, I missed the file off the end

The paths shouldn't matter as long as there is the correct file at the end.
Have you seen how many different ways you could do this with Suse now?
