"execute will not start for security reason" - how to start then!?

i wanted to install corel from this file format i hate so much: .tar.gz. when i ran the install file, i got a message that i first considered to be a joke - it says, we have an executable file here. then it concludes: for security reasons it won't be running. this reminds me on the flash animation "windows rg"... so how do i install corel then?

regards

Untar the archive and refer to the INSTALL file for more detailed installation instructions.

Lightbulb thank you!!

i did so and the installation actually started. i typed in my root-password and while installing it said "error, folder not found", but the installation seemed to be completed anyway. but now i had to find out that the folder in /usr is missing - where could this problem occur from!?

regards
