Error plasma a desktop shell: The process for the trash protocol died unexpectedly

Has anyone gotten the following error?
"Error plasma a desktop shell: The process for the trash protocol died unexpectedly" I get this message ramdomly. When it happens sometimes I get kicked back to runlevel 3, other times I lose some of the icons in the bar. In any case a hard restart is required.

More importantly, What can be done to fix the problem?

Currently running:
kernel 3.7.10-1.16 desktop
openSUSE 12.3 (Dartmoth)(x68_64)
KDE 4.10.5 "release 1"

AMD athlon 64 x 2

Thanks in advance from an admitted noob for any help.
