Error message when starting synaptic

Hi,

when I start synaptic I get the following message:

W: There are multiple versions of "kernel-default" in your system.

This package won't be cleanly updated, unless you leave
only one version. To leave multiple versions installed,
you may remove that warning by setting the following
option in your configuration file:

RPM::Allow-Duplicated { "^kernel-default$"; };

My oS is SuSE 10.1, updated/upgraded.

To disable these warnings completely set:

RPM::Allow-Duplicated-Warning "false";

W: There are multiple versions of "kernel-source" in your system.

only one version. To leave multiple versions installed,
you may remove that warning by setting the following
option in your configuration file:

RPM::Allow-Duplicated { "^kernel-source$"; };

What should I do, allow multiple versions or remove it, if so which one?

I just removed the old packages with synaptic and until now, everything is working well.
