Duplicate registration of DNS for domain

When 9.3 starts I get a small xconsole window with the error "Duplicate registration of DNS for domain". What does this mean? The usual login screen is missing, replaced by an all grey screen. Everything seems to work but I can't shut down normally. This never happened until I changed ISP's.
