Download beta Novell Desktop Linux 10--???

My ignornace will be exposed here: can we downlaod the latest development release of the NDL 10? Is this the same (except for the prop software) compared with SUSELinux 10.1 (to be released soon). If we can try out NLD 10 where to get it? IS it worth it?

I think you have to be a Novell Partner to download NLD 10 (soon to be called Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop). I have it, but the differences between it and OpenSuse are minor (they are built slightly differently, but not much). I do know that the latest OpenSuse 10.1 beta has XGL (OpenGL XWindows). SLED 10 will also. It is very cool looking (I was messing around with it yesterday).

As to purchasing SLED 10 vs OpenSuse, yes, it is worth it. The money spent goes towards further development.
