Create new SendKey in SLES 11

Hello

I have SUSE Linux enterprise Server 11 (SLES 11) installed and I am trying to run a very very locked down version of Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition as a XEN virtual server. Windows is installed from a Ghost image and it has autologon enabled with nothing much else enabled on the desktop. The statement "nothing much else available" is rather an understatement by a lot. In order to get Administrator access I have to press (send) SHIFT key (standard procedure in Windows standalone server) to the virtual server after I send the CTRL+ALT+DEL key to log off the autologon user.

Problem:
1. Virtual server does not accept SHIFT key from the keyboard (I am working from the console and not logged in remotely)
2. I am unable to resize the window inside the virtual server console to see the start button

I am looking for a way to send shift key hold down until the logoff and login process completes.

I have tried to create xmodmap file with the shift key but that has not helped

Any help will be appreciated very much.

Regards.
