could not start kdeinit. Check your installation.

I am using SUSE 10.1

I use KDE

Today I restarted my computer but I got this error message "could not start kdeinit. Check your installation."

If I click okay I can work in command line.

I dont know if it could help to fix the problem. I use Gnome Evolution for my email on KDE and since some weeks it crash very often.

You might try:
startkde
or
init 5
I had to log in as root several times to get it to go.

I had the same problem several times and finally trashed 10.1 and went back to 10.0.
I got the REMASTERED 10.1 the other day and installed it but it wont go in to run level 3 to install an nvidia driver.

I've had 10.2 beta 2 running for a few days with no problems other than there is not much software available for it yet.

10.2 RC1 will be available to download 11/23/06
