Copy Text File and Paste to /hdd CD-RW

My mind is still in Windows mode and is used to copying a file in Windows Explorer and pasting it directly to a CD-RW disk. Is there a simple way to do that with openSuse 10.2? I can't get it done with K3b.

Once you select a project, you can use drag and drop from konqueror to k3b.

But how do you append more files as you would a floppy or a CDRW in windows? It looks like "Burn" is the only option.
