Does anyone know how to change the Konqueror text view to have the folders on top? No matter what I do I cannot find the option to do so. Of course all of the words I can think to use to find an answer on google are far to generic.
Distribution: Simply mepis and it's soooo nice !!!

I just looked and my folders are always on top as default in any view that I have chosen.
Have you looked to see where they are in any of the other views [i.e. tree view/ icon view etc......]
Perhaps you have the files/folders ordered by date or something?
I've tried every way of sorting (by name, date, size, etc.) and have been unable to get the directories on top. The text view is the only view that has them on the bottom.
Distribution: SUSE primarily, but also Slackware, Fedora, Ubuntu, and KNOPPIX.

Ah, I see what you mean. The same is true for me too. Only in "Text View" (View | View Mode | Text View) do the folders/directories appear at the bottom of the list. I'll play with it for a while and see what I can figure out.
