Configuring proxy settings for yast update behind a firewall

Hi I've set up a suse 9.1 box in work and we're behind a firewall. As I understand it yast uses proxy settings for http and ftp. What I want to do is download all the patches to this box through ftp.

I know http & ftp are enabled on the ip address. In the proxy settings for http I've put in http://proxy:80 and it works. What do I need to put in the ftp setting?

On my windows box I leave the proxy setting for ftp blank, is it the same?
Thanks in advance

fintan.

The only this I came up with is this

Start YasT2
Choose "Network Devices" from the menu
Choose "Network Card" icon
highlight you network card
Edit the Network Card settings
Choose "Routing"
Click the checkbox for "Expert Settings", and click ADD
For Destination type the server's name
For Gateway type 10.0.0.1:80 or whatever your proxy's IP is
Type the subnet mask and click oK

This may not work, but its the only thing I have come up with so far in anything material I can find. Good luck

Thanks for the reply musicman_ace, I've tried that with no joy. I left it blank aswell hoping that would work. It keeps on saying host not found.
