cdma under linux

dear all..

is there any experience about cdma internet conection in suse9.2?
I use nokia-cdma (6015) for internet access as a modem..

I use a cdma phone.

I don't think cdma has anything to do with the way the modem works. You plug the phone in and you use ttyACM0 as your modem.

What problem are you having?

I've tried to check the usb cable data..

# dmesg | grep usb

and the result is usb conection has been detected and attached to ttyUSB0

# ln -s /dev/ttyUSB0 /dev/modem

and then setting this modem as usual... I use 'wvdial' and 'kinternet dial' (cmiiw)
and setting with my provider.. bla.. bla.. done
when I'm trying to dial.. I got warning 'modem not respond'...

any suggestion..?

btw, I'll try your suggestion later...
