Cannot mount volume

I have a 130 gig internal storage drive, and i just plugged it in but upon trying to access it i get the error "An error occurred while accessing 'New Volume', the system responded: org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.PermissionDeniedByPolicy: org.freedesktop.hal.storage.mount-fixed auth_admin_keep_always <--(action,result) "

Whats with this? Do i need to mount the volume manually, telling it the mount path or what? Im not 100% on how to do that. Can someone help me out with the problem please?

Is it formated?
if it is use the partitioner in yast to mount it
if not use the partitioner in yast to mount and format it:D

it's not formatted because it has tons of my files on it, including all of my music haha. Gotta be another way, other than formatting it

use the partitioner in yast, just do not format it

make sure you choose do not format
choose a mount point like /media/name of new harddrive (you and choose anything you like)

maybe it isnt saving the mount path for the drive or something?
