Can I print to a network printer not supported by linux?
My xp machine has a Minolta 1250W laser printer shared via SMB...can Suse 9.2 print to this shared printer in a method where the printing is still controlled by the XP machine?
If your printer can accept RAW printing, where the image of the document being printed is sent directly to the printer, then yes. If not then you will need to find a driver that works for it. The printer will need to be set up as a network printer.
You could also try printing to a file, then tranfer that to the xp machine, and printing it from there, depending on the original program used to create the document.
