Can't type in YaST

Hey everyone,

So I just did a fresh install of SuSE 9.3 Professional, the problem I am having is that when I go to Install or Remove Software under YaST I can't type in the search field! I can obviously type everywhere else since I can type in my admin password, the only information I found regarding this problem was at:

lists.suse.com/archive/suse-linux-e/2004-Apr/1598.html

Yet, I did an update after my install and it still did not fix the problem. Any suggestions?

This is a recurring problem, I had it in 9.1 - 9.3. Either login as root and run it or run it with the ncurses frontend from the command line.

Thanks for your help! Funny thing is, I haven't had this problem at all since installing SuSE, my first install on 9.3 went fine and then on my second install I got this problem so who knows?

I'll try the DVD install and see if anything else is different.
