Booting Win98 with GRUB


When I try to boot into Windows 98 in GRUB, it gives me an error. Windows 98 is installed on a partition on a second hard drive, with the boot files on the first partition of the first hard drive. This is the error that I receive:

root (hd1,1)
Filesystem type is fat, partition type 0xc
chainloader +1

GNU GRUB version 0.95 (639K lower / 515008K upper memory)
[Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB
lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists the possible
completions of a device / filename.]

To be able to boot Windows from a second drive, you need to make it believe it is located on the first drive. Have a look here:
