You can also download the dvd (eval) version of Suse.
Works without any problems.

If you've already downloaded the 5 CD's there's a thread somewhere explaining how to convert these into a single bootable DVD.
I can't remember the links but I'm sure if you GOOGLE or search the forum you'll find the link.
You can't just copy the 5 CD's to a DVD. You have to extract the boot sector program to make the DVD bootable. The link explains how to do it.
I'd just download the EVAL DVD --it's a lot easier. If you've got a reasonably fast broadband connection shouldn't take too long.
If your service provider limits the amount of downloads you can do then I'd change it --there's plenty of competition out there now for decent ISP's.
Cheers

Here is the list of SuSE mirrors Some mirrors have the DVD, but not all. Please select a mirror that is geographically close.
If your question really is "how do I boot from the DVD?" then the real issue may simply be that in your BIOS boot sequence, the CD/DVD is listed below the hard drive. To change it, presss Del or F12 (or whatever key is appropriate) to enter BIOS, then go to the boot sequence option, move the CD/DVD to the top of the list, save your changes, and reboot. Good luck with it and Welcome to LQ!
