Beryl + openSUSE 10.2 + XGL problem.
I have openSUSE 10.2 installed on an AMD 64 bit processor, with a Radeon x1600 video card. I installed the ATI drivers, which worked flawlessly, and then I set out to install Beryl. Everything seemed to install correctly, except for when I rebooted the computer, Beryl was very glitchy. I lost the title bars on all windows (when the rendering option was set to "copy"), I didn't have any of the visual effects, and the desktop was very slow and sluggish. I'm running the KDE desktop. If it worked correctly before the first reboot, what could cause it to malfunction?
Sidenote: I still have beryl and beryl-manager installed on my system. I switched the window manager to the default KDE manager, which works correctly, except I get the error message "The Composite Manager crashed twice within a minute and is therefore disabled for this session."
