BenQ Scanner not working
 

Hello,

i have a benq scanner that worked once by total luck on suse 10.0 i scanned a couple of images and i couldn't get it to start again

those shots are taken from yast/scanner i hope they would help you

BTW i am using Kooka to scan my images

Hi AGazzaz,

Did you try configuring the new unconfigured scanner entry? I think I had to do that once or twice with my Epson.

i have tried to edit the "Not Configured" entery and nothing has changed and I can not delete it

this snapshot is taken after i have deleted the scanner neither of these enteries can be deleted

I'm guessing you need to load firmware for this scanner to work. Try this link.

something strange happened,
the scanner worked and i did not do anything i just tried it and it worked

as i told you before it worked before just with luck and i really hope it doesn't stop again
