avahi mdns/dns-sd daemon takes long time to start

Version: OpenSuse 12.2

As I boot my system, I notice that the above mentioned daemon takes about 6-7 seconds to start, making overall system boot slow.

Is there any way to prevent loading this daemon until system boots and user gets login shell?

System services run because they provide functionality to the system, regardless of any user being logged in or not. It would be better if you first check if you need the service (dependency for another service?, read 'man avahi-daemon') and if you do check the reason why it seems slow (check which /etc/avahi/services/ files it loads, run daemon in --debug mode).
