ATI video driver on SUSE 10.0?

I've tried to install the videodrivers supplied by ati.com but so far without success, -stuck on the generic set of videodrivers.
Anyone who installed these set of drivers running&working on the latest release of SuSE10.0?

Must admit Linux is still pretty new to me and a few advises would be appreciated.

best regards Dan
