Apache2 worker works, prefork doesn't

Any ideas on how I can track this down?

Apache stopped working for some reason... I'm not sure exactly why. I was working on installing webmin , samba, and cups sometime around when my gallery program that uses php stopped working.

httpd2-worker works, but is not compatible with php, so I need to use http2-prefork.

It seems like the child processs just crash when it tries to load them.

Argh.

Weird, I must have 'upgraded' one of my Apache modules by accident, because I removed them all and reinstalled from the base rpms, and it started to work again.
