Hi,

Converting: from what to what?
Looking for something in particular?

There are many conversion programs (too many to mention).

Suse comes with a application called Convert. Not sure if it's installed by default. Also not
sure if it's the same as mentioned above. It's started from a command.

Convert - is an extention of ImageMagick. Converts only pix.
He needed units, such as lengths, miles, hectares etc

Rereading my post I realize it wasn't very clear. Convert is a small application that does unit conversion. On the 9.2 DVD it is found under
/productivity/scientific. I start it from the command line. Can't remember if I had to choose it or if it"s in the default packages. Canada is sort of a dual
measurement country so it comes in very handy.
Sorry for the confusion (it was late)
My $5 calculator does unit conversion, it"s kind of curious that Kcalc does'nt
