after rebooting with init '3' , lost my web server

hello:

dummy me, without giving full thought I accidentally rebooted by suse 10.0 system using

init 3

as root.

just today I discovered I cannot access my website which was supposed to be running apache.

does this have anything to do with restarting with 'init 3'

thanx

Maybe apache is configured for the wrong runlevel. Check with YaST -> System -> Runlevel-something if apache is active in runlevel 3. If not, you can easily set this in expert mode.

again ; it was my mistake. my service provider simply was nto connecting me to internet ; that was the problem. it had nothing to do with init
