64-bit question

Does anyone have any experience with 64-bit opensuse? How is the hardware support? Is it comparable to 32-bit?
I just ordered my first 64-bit computer and it comes without an OS.
I have become quite enamored with Gnome on opensuse 10.2...I am just wondering if 64-bit will provide comparable hardware support and experience.
Thanx for any input...

so far so good

i've installed it after nice couple of hours fighting with raid setup and where to put grub.. that was a bit of pain but end-up in changing bios boot setup and putting grub into mbr of ide hdd.

rest was pretty smooth - i got 32bit application support - nvidia drivers installed with no problems.
most surprised i was about that it could use my belkin pci wireless card with wpa straight out of box - which was kind of nice

now biggest problem i came across is bloody java, azureus and firefox plugin... just posted a thread and will see how it goes.

cheers

Thanks for the input...I am still waiting for my computer to arrive, but I will go ahead and download opensuse 64-bit to get ready.

From what I've gathered since posting the above, Linux seems ahead of the competition when it comes to hardware support in 64-bit...a pleasant surprise...
