10.3 X_64 How do I start KDE 4 (it installed fine)

Hi Gurus
I installed KDE4 but how do I start it.

Currently I have run level set to 3, login from the console and type startx -- this brings up KDE3.

I don't want to use the graphical autologin manager

Use whatever the Exec is in your /usr/share/xsessions/kde4.desktop file.

Actually there's not a lot yet to see -- you just get the start up and then it goes back to the graphical login again

I've no problem however in running some KDE4 apps on KDE3.

The "Bog standard" X_64 10.3 loaded everything correctly including my built in card reader and wireless card. First time I've ever got the entire hardware to work correctly including Konqueror Real Player plugin. -- now all I need to do is learn how to use it properly.
