10.1 Open office fails /home/user/slot:5500 does not exist

Anybody have the same problem trying to use Open Office on SUSE 10.1 Beta 8

Message is /home/user/slot:5500 does not exist.

User is any user on the system including root so it's not permissions etc.

(Do I need to download openoffice since OSS can't supply it any more -- if so it seems strange that the package is included on the CD's).

Thanks

-K

Creating a file slot:5500 seems to fix problem ?
Works however.

create it in the home directory of all the users who want to run Open Office

Cheers
