[Need Help] Thumbdrive transfer rate slow in Suse
Suse autodetects my thumbdrive and mounts it in /media,
the transfer rate is only 32kB/s,
why so slow?
How to correct this problem?
Please teach me gently, thanks.

And you're sure your computer has USB2.0 ports? Not USB1.0 ports? Because if your USB Drive is transferring that slow after switching drivers properly, it is the drive or the computer limitting it.

Problem solved.
Just umount and then mount manually.
