Swap partition failing to activate, Jack not working and random system's hangs

Hello, I bought Studio 13.37 in July but I got the chance to try it only now.
I like the concept of the project but I'm getting lot of problems.
The swap partition at boot says that failed, Jack doesn't work and the system becomes very unusable/unstable randomly.
I'm wondering if the failure of the swap partition may be the reason for the random hangs, because this happened to me even while using other linux distros so maybe it's a kernel bug as always, in Linux, where good quality code is a joke.
I like the accuracy of this distro but it's such a pity that the core code base make it suck.

I attach the screenshot about the Jack's error hoping at least for this bug to solve: .
I'm not expecting to see "the hangs bug" to be solved because I already lost my hope to see quality code into the Linux cores time ago.

Paying for something that one could get for free is poor quality of your search skills

Hi there,

We don't expect everyone to have a good experience on every computer - for instance, if your pc is too old to be running software such as this, you may not experience the desired results. That is why we offer a 100% money-back guarantee. (We have your purchase receipt, email us for more info.)

The PC is not old at all and I can run pretty much anything on it.
I think the problem has to do with the Linux kernel [MODERATED].

May I asked why you bought a Linux distribution in the first place when you have such a low opinion of Linux? Doesn't make much sense, don't you think?

On-topic: You basically give us no information that we can work with to help you. It would help to see your disk layout and know your hardware (CPU, mainboard, video-card, amount of RAM).

It's working well for me.

I have not finished any recordings yet, but jack runs with no errors.

I think your blaming GNU/Linux for your hardware problems.

GNU/Linux is harder on Ram, meaning winxp may work fine, but It's just not good enough for this OS.

Check your ram with memtest86+. and do tests 6 through 9, if you see any errors, your stuck in winblow$-land.

You might read more here...http://www.linuxquestions.org

Puppy is also a good place to look for clues.

Nope, if you see errors in Memtest then you either run your RAM with the wrong settings or your RAM is faulty and has to be replaced.
