Question x86 Solaris 10 System Requirements?

Hi,
I am thinking about installing Solaris 10 on an older x86 DELL Dimension Desktop. I have a few questions about the Solaris 10 system requirements since the computer is a few years old.

First - does SunOS 10 really take up 5-7GB of disk space?
Second - what is the minimum processor speed for x86

Thanks for any help that can be given.

-Derek

Solaris 10 may go that far if you do a full install, plus full solaris companion.
It can use even much more if you create new zones, especially if you set them to have their own R/W filesystems.

I think you'll much likely have trouble with insufficient RAM before CPU speed.
Although it may work, I wouldn't try to install it on a system with less than 233 Mhz / 256 MB.
