Hi!

how do i address the external SCSI disk?

fdisk /dev/s0d0
doesn't work.

anyway.. i am new to this.

The naming convention is c?t?d?s? - controller, target, logical device, slice. Your first disk is typically c0t0d0. If the device is external, you will need to check the SCSI id set on the device. In a non-RAID world, the target typically translates to the SCSI id.
