I haven't but I think it's supported. I prefer VirtualBox which can be now both a guest and a host OS.

I have installed Sun Solaris 10 x86 as a guest in VMWare for Windows.
I have also installed Solaris 10 x86 as a guest on VirtualBox for Linux.
You will find that a number of people have done this.
Try a Google search.

Yes. It was slow and painful, but it worked. google for exact install procedure on bigadmin.... there may have been a gotcha or two.
the biggest issues once it was installed were networking and an acceptable resolution. Be prepared to spend alot of time on google if you go for it

Have anyone tried to install Virtualbox ontop OpenSolaris, and then, install VirtualBox inside the VirtualBox, etc?

I more than strongly doubt this can work.
O/S level virtualization (zones) will work in the guest OS.
Recursive virtual machines can only work with simulation techniques like bochs, but with such a performance degradation that it would be useless.
