The T4-1 and X4170 are a good choice for a currently-supported system, if you're also looking to purchase a support contact for hardware and/or software. Though for just a jumpstart server, four X4170s seem a bit excessive.

Do you really need four separate X4170s just to do jumpstarts? (Or am I reading the chart wrong?)

Keep in mind the x4170s are x86-based. You may want to double-check that you don't *need* SPARC-based CPUs (I've seen the x86 vs SPARC difference sneak-up on people).
