That's a BIOS error; your computer is not finding anything to try to boot from.

What makes you say that?

Try reinstalling grub to the MBR.

I tried to install bootblk
with no luck

i ran
PHP Code:
#installgrub /boot/grub/satge1 /boot/grub/stage2 /dev/rdsk/c0d0s0
connot open/stat device /dev/rdsk/c0d0s2
here is the output of fdisk
PHP Code:
#fdisk /dev/rdsk/c0d0p0

Total disk size is 9729 cylinders
             Cylinder size is 16065
(512 byteblocks
                                         Cylinders
Partition   Status    Type      Start   End   Length
%
    =========   ======    ========  =====   ===   ======   ===

1                 EXT LBA     1     329   329       3
SELECT ONE OF THE FOLLOWING
:

1. Create a partition
  2. Specify the active partition
  3. Delete a partition
  4. Change between Solaris
and Solaris2 Partition IDs
  5.
Exit (update disk configuration and exit)

6. Cancel (exit without updating disk configuration)
Enter Selection6

i asked for help in other forum and after several checks and replies we concluded that
fdisk partitions are lost
now i want to recreate the fdisk partitions new and access the data which should be still on the disk .
any idea regarding this
