syslog timestamp

Does anyone know how to change the timestamp format of syslog from GMT to, umm lets say, localtime on a Solaris environment?

Thank you in advance,

I would think this comes from your system time on the machine itself. If not you can probably change it in or from the syslog.conf file, etc.

Maybe the man pages mention this, I am unsure.

syslog timestamp

I read that it takes the time from the system time too. I dont see anywhere in the syslog.conf file on how this can be changed nor the man files, unless I have missed it. I dont have direct access to a sol machine, so I am trying to get data from my friend, that is in need.

Thanks for any assistance you can send my way.
