sunlink 9.0 license installation

I am having to rebuild a sparc20 as an NMS for a DPN 100. The previous platform was a sparc5 and the backup will not work on the sparc20. I have the software required, but the license installation manual is missing from the box. I have tried to manually create and edit the license.dat file, but this is not being accepted. Any suggestions on how to license the sunlink 9.0 on solaris 2.7? Does anyone have a link to the manual?

Anyone have experience with dealing with Oracle for the flexlm license manager. Is it a painful process. Any idea of cost?
