Sun Console Showing Warning

Hi Team,

Request to assist me with the below issue.

When I login to the Sun ILOM I am getting the below message.

"Warning: The system appears to be in manufacturing test mode.
Contact Service immediately."

Details of the machine pasted below.

Hardware: SUN FIRE X4170 M2 SERVER
ILOM Version: Version 3.0.9.15 r54310
OS Version: SunOS 5.10

The server is in production and we could not detect any H/W issues with respect to the warning.

Also let me know what is "manufacturing test mode"

Regards,
Rhadmn

Do you have support? If so you can just open a case with Oracle per the warning message that you received.

You could try two different things; First, try resetting the SP and see if if comes back up in mfg test mode or normal mode. If that doesn't change anything, you could always try reinstalling the latest iLom firmware to see if that sorts it out. I don't know how either of these suggestions would turn out, so do them at your own risk.

You might simply run
Code:
# eeprom mfg-mode=off
