I'm having this weird problem.

I'm trying to connect to a server through ssh and it gives me a socket error

looks like the ssh on your solaris is using version 1.1 protocol and your linux server is using 2.0 protocol and is probably set to not allow 1.1 since 1.1 is easily broken. So you either need to update your solaris ssh or allow your linux ssh to use 1.1
