Hello. I am trying to install Solaris x86 10 (11/06) under Microsoft VPC 2004. When it gets to the license step it hangs up. I've tried installing from a DVD-ROM (burned from ISO) or the CD image. Same thing. I did some googling, but the suggestions didn't work.

Anyone have any luck installing Solaris x86 under VPC? It is supposed to work (http://vpc.visualwin.com/)

On a related topic, I get the same results with Belenix. I've considered running this OS under VMware, but would rather not for only one OS. All of my other OSes (several Linux flavors, Win95 thru XP, Minix, FreeDOS, et. al.) work fine under VPC.

I've installed Solaris under VPC before, no problems. Unfortunately since it went in with completely default settings I don't have any ideas on what you might change to make it work better :-(

Do you recall which version of Solaris & VPC you were using? Thanks.

IIRC, we did it both with Solaris 06/06 and 11/06. Not sure on the VPC version though.
