I have just installed Solaris 8 on Sun Fire V240. I have choosen "End user instalation".
Now Im trying to connect via Xmanager to that system and I cant.
I have no problem with access via TELNET or FTP.
As in Solaris 10 there is nothng to do to connect via XManager maybe in Solaris 8 I need to do something before ?
Hey, I have managed with that.
I have restarted /etc/init.d/dtlogin.
Also put my host and Solaris 8 server into this same network segment - so now, no gateway is needed now.
Those 2 things may be helpful for anyone who has this same problem.
