Solaris 10 sparc bootadm
I need to rebuild my devices, hardware, etc from boot -F failsafe. I see in Solaris 10 Sparc there is the bootadm update-archive -R /a to recreate the boot-archive. Is that the same thing as in RHEL mkinitrd and kudzu that allows you to refind hardware and recreate the kernel for bootup?
I am trying to refind hardware and recreate the kernel on bootup so that the solaris 10 sparc will boot up. help... |
Shouldn't this be in the Solaris forum?
Anyway, you can rediscover hardware on SPARC Solaris using "boot -r" from the OBP (ok> prompt). |
