Jlliagre, your solution worked...again. I edited the menu.lst file in /boot/grub so I don't have to retype that command each time I boot to Solaris. Thank you very much. As I continue to use Solaris I am sure that I'll have other questions, but those will be for other threads in the future.

I solved this problem by burning the disks at a lower speed.

I tried to boot from the CD and got a message saying, "Loading Stage 2 ...." and it just hung.

I was skeptical but it worked!

EDIT: Now it's hanging right after the "Use is subject to license terms" message

Solaris 10 Licensing Costs
Solaris 10 is free but you must get a full license for Solaris 10 all you have to do is go to the Download Center and register your systems.
